John F. Bershof, M.D., F.A.C.S.
 John Fox Bershof, MD, FACS, a native of Denver, Colorado, is a graduate of Antioch College, Yellow Springs, Ohio where he received his Bachelor's of Science degree in Biochemistry. Dr. Bershof earned his Doctor of Medicine degree from the University of Colorado School of Medicine. He completed his first residency in Head and Neck Surgery at the University of Colorado, and his second residency in Plastic Surgery from Case Western Reserve University in Cleveland. Dr. Bershof is certified by the American Board of Plastic Surgery, as well as board certified in Head and Neck Surgery, making him one of only a few plastic surgeons in the United States double-boarded in plastic surgery procedures. Dr. Bershof has received annual kudos from his fellow Denver physicians by being a perennial inductee into the 5280 Magazine "Top Doctors", a list of those Denver doctors rated the best by their peers. Dr. Bershof has been in the private practice of plastic surgery in Denver since 1991.
Dr. Bershof practices all aspects of plastic, reconstructive and cosmetic surgery. With his dual training, he has special interests and skills in cosmetic plastic surgery of the face, including rhinoplasty (nose jobs), eyelid lifts, and facelifts. The scope of his practice involves all aspects of breast surgery, including breast augmentations and breast lifts, as well as reconstruction after breast cancer surgery. Finally, Dr. Bershof enjoys body-contouring procedures including tummy tucks and liposuction.
Dr. Bershof is a Fellow of the Americans College of Surgeons and is a member of the American Society of Plastic Surgery, American Academy of Facial Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery, Colorado State Society of Plastic Surgery, the Colorado Medical Society, the Denver Medical Society, and the Denver Surgical Society.
In addition to his busy plastic surgery practice, Dr. Bershof is Chief of Plastic Surgery at Rose Medical Center, Denver, and is a consultant to the Colorado Board of Medical Examiners. He is President of skynetMD.com, a wireless medical website.

Susan Strasburg, R.N. Plastic Surgery Nurse/Nurse Injector Susan has been with our practice team for over 18 years and has over 30 years of nursing experience. Susan's expertise in the plastic surgery field is unsurpassed; she will assist you and Dr. Bershof with decisions about your surgical goals, preparing you for surgery and helping Dr. Bershof care for you after surgery. She will hold your hand all the way through your surgical experience.
Susan is also an injecting nurse in our medical spa, Body by Design, where she performs injections of dermal fillers and BOTOX® as well as performing skin care evaluations, skin peels, microdermabrasion, and dermaplaning.
Accounts Manager/Surgery Coordinator
Andrea has been with our practice 4 years. She has been in the medical field since 2003. Andrea manages the back office and is the person you will meet with to schedule your surgery, review cosmetic surgery cost, and answer questions regarding financing. She will coordinate the operating room and anesthesia and will complete any insurance pre-authorization needed for your procedure. She will happily assist you with all your billing needs. Andrea is fluent in Spanish and is a great asset to our team.
Receptionist
Beth has been with our team for 2 years. She has been working in the medical field for over 10 years. She will be the first person to greet you when you come to our office and make you feel welcome. She manages the front desk, schedules office appointments, but has been cross trained in back office tasks. Our patients will feel comfort with her friendly smile and welcoming personality.
